Elmont, New York

Sunday mornings and
evenings set apart.

New York Pentecostal Church gathers for Sunday School and worship in English and Malayalam, plus an evening service every Saturday — a house of God at 57 Meacham Ave.

Welcome Home

A church built on the Word and led by the Spirit

Wherever you are on your walk with God, there's a seat for you at New York Pentecostal Church. We are a Pentecostal congregation in Elmont, New York, gathered around prayer, praise, and the preaching of God's Word.

We gather Sunday mornings for Sunday School and worship in both English and Malayalam, and return Saturday night, 7:00 to 9:00, so that after the week has had its say, we can come together and let God have His.

Come as you are. Bring your questions, your praise, your burdens. You'll be welcomed by name.

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another.

Hebrews 10:25

What We Believe

Tenets of Faith

The convictions that shape our worship, our teaching, and our life together as a Pentecostal church.

I.
The Scriptures Inspired

The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God — the final rule for faith and conduct.

II.
One True God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

III.
The Fall of Man

Man was created good and upright, but by voluntary transgression fell, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ.

IV.
Salvation of Man

Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, by grace through faith, not by works.

V.
Baptism in Water

Believers are commanded to be baptized by immersion, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as an outward sign of an inward faith.

VI.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit

All believers are entitled to and should earnestly seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit, with the initial physical evidence of speaking in other tongues.

VII.
Sanctification

Sanctification is an act of separation from evil and dedication unto God, made possible through the power of the Holy Spirit.

VIII.
Divine Healing

Healing of the body is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is the privilege of every believer.

IX.
The Blessed Hope

The rapture of the Church at Christ's return is the blessed hope of every believer.

X.
The Second Coming of Christ

Christ will return visibly and bodily to establish His kingdom, to judge the living and the dead.
